August 2009 The Galleria of Dalian New World Tower started trial operation
The Galleria, which is run elaborately by New World China Land, started its trial operation since 22 August. The Galleria is situated in the podium of Dalian New World Tower, which has 4 stories and covers 26,000 sqm GFA. The first floor is connected to 5-star New World Hotel Dalian. The shop adjacent to Renmin Road is designed into 2-storey flagship store. The shops for personal characters, fashionable brands specialty stores and food square are arranged from 2nd floor to 4th floor. The Galleria is home to a dozen of world-famous brands, with many of them premiering in Dalian.

July 2009 New World Hotel Dalian opened grandly
New World Hotel Dalian developed by New World China Land formally opened on 8 July. Mr. Zhang Jun, Deputy Mayor of Dalian, Dr. Henry Cheng, Chairman and Managing Director of New World China Land, Miss Sonia Cheng, Executive Vice Chairman of New World Hotel Management Limited, and Mr. Ge Bolin, General Manager of New World Hotel Dalian jointly attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for New World Hotel Dalian. It has been the 6th New World branded hotel operated by New World Hotel Management Limited in Mainland China. Located at 1st to 24th floor of the west tower of Dalian New World Tower, and situated on Renmin Road, the CBD of Dalian, the hotel has 429 luxurious rooms.

April 2009 The public offering of the Beijing Downtown Bravo Apartments
The Downtown Bravo Apartments in the New World business circle in Chongwen District, Beijing developed by New World China Land are officially launched. The purchasing offers are three times of the expectation and all 100 units have been sold. The located on the Chongwenmenwai Street in Chongwen District, the Downtown Bravo Apartments embrace numbering historical places such as Tiananmen Square, Imperial Palace and Temple of Heaven. It is also the conjunction of the Metro No. 5 and the Metro No. 2 of the subway. With 28,000 sqm GFA, the Downtown Bravo Apartments have 216 units.

April 2009 The opening of Guangzhou New World Plaza – the Canton Place
The Canton Place, the commercial property developed by New World China Land in Pearl River New Town of Guangzhou, celebrates its opening accompanied by the exhibition with the theme of displaying the visual culture in the urban area. Located in the Central Park-view with the area over 80,000 sqm, the Canton Place consists of three parts including the apartment, the commercial area and the Canton Club. The Canton Residence consists of six buildings with around 200 service apartments. The 6,000-sqm high-end private club, the Canton Club, provides an excellent place for dining, entertainment and recreation. The Canton Place commercial area has gathered high quality merchants featuring in international cuisine, culture, shopping and service, etc.

March 2009 Phase I completion of Dalian New World Tower
Phase I of Dalian New World Tower has been completed recently, with New World Hotel Dalian started its trial operation. New World Hotel Dalian in the west tower of Dalian New World Tower is located in the busiest area in Zhongshan District of Dalian. It neighbours Renmin Road in the north, reaches Zhifu Road in the east, connects to Minshou Road in the south, and lies along Mingze Street in the west. The hotel has 31 floors in total, with 429 luxurious rooms. As the one and only building complex integrating the high-end hotel, the office building, the shopping mall and the apartments in Dalian, Dalian New World Tower has an area of 16,600 sqm, and a GFA of 219,000 sqm. The whole complex consists of the East Tower and the West Tower.

March 2009 Anshan New World Garden Phase I “Junyi Huating” started construction
After the foundation laying last year, Anshan New World Garden Phase I “Junyi Huating” resumed overall construction. All employees of Anshan project, the project general contractor Hip Hing (China) Construction Co., Ltd., Fuxi Supervision Company, and construction unit have attended the ceremony. Situated in the core area of Anshan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Anshan New World Garden covers a total area of 477,000 sqm. Its Phase I “Junyi Huating” planned to build 21 blocks. Anshan New World Garden is a large-sized property project invested by New World China Land, and also the largest Hong Kong solely invested project in Anshan for the moment.
