Started long-term investment in Chinese real estate market |

As early as 1980, the Group started its long-term investment in Chinese real estate market, with its first project of being Marriott China Hotel Guangzhou, the first Sino-foreign joint venture hotel of China. As of its opening, the Hotel has been a famous landmark of Guangzhou, and New World had managed the hotel for 14 years, leading the hotel service to a peak. In late 1980s, the Group also opened Grand New World Hotel Xian and New World Hotel Beijing.
